AES Mong Duong Pickleball Tournament 2025
In 2014, we continue our commitments to support the development and well-being of the local communities where our project is located. A special focus is placed on education and public health care and infrastructure.
Education
We kick off our 2014 community programs with a water supply system installation project and donation of furniture, computers and printers to Ha Chanh Branch of Cong Hoa Primary School in January. In addition to providing support to facilitate better conditions at the local schools, we implement projects to proactively share our values with the communities.
In May we celebrated Safety Day at Mong Duong Primary School with more awareness trainings over basic safety issues with the teachers and students.
In June, in celebration of the 2014 Values Day and in honor of our commitment to the local communities, we constructed a new classroom, set up a library, donated trash bins and renovated bathrooms for Cam Hai Primary and Secondary School. The 2014 Values Day took place successfully at the school with AES employees, contractor’s employees, and students participating trees planting and fence painting activities.
We also sponsored extracurricular activities so the local students are motivated and enjoy themselves through educational experiences, such as a Historical and Cultural Study Tour for 21 excellent students of Cong Hoa Secondary School or tickets to the Workers’ Theater for the National Transportation Safety Day.
Public Infrastructure
We cooperated with the local Red Cross Union of Mong Duong Ward to provide ceramic tiles and concrete mixers to the local residents to build communal roads and repair local houses in poor conditions. We also set up over 40 trash bins in public areas in Mong Duong Ward to improve public hygiene conditions for the local residents.
