AES Mong Duong’s Lifesaving Blood Donation Event
On 17January 2013, workers and staff of the Mong Duong 2 BOT Power Project proudly celebrated the achievement of another project milestone – the lifting of the Unit 2 Steam Drum. The Ambassador of the United States of America, Mr. David Shear, joined the celebration and congratulated the Project for this important achievement.
As of this day, the Project has achieved an overall progress of approximately 66% with 225 experts and 4,000 local Vietnamese people currently working at site.
At the ceremony, AES Country Manager and Managing Director David Stone highlighted: “We are extremely proud to witness the commencement of lifting of the Unit 2 Steam Drum. We would like to express many thanks to all the dedicated and skillful workers for their dedication and efforts to achieve this significant milestone today. With SAFETY as our first priority we are confident that we will meet all expectations for the project.”
