AES Mong Duong Honored with AmCham Hanoi CSR Recognition Award 2025
Hanoi, 15 June 2016 –As an Executive Board member of VBCSD, Mr. David Stone joined the Executive Board Meeting which was held at VCCI Building, 9 Dao Duy Anh Str., Hanoi. The meeting was attended by 11 out of 14 Executive Board members and 6 additional official members of VBCSD.
In the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, the General Secretary of VBCSD, presented the activities report and financial statement for the first 6 months of 2016 and focused activities in the last 6 months of 2016.
The Board also reviewed the on-going activities in 2016, of which, the “Building sustainable business models in Vietnam” Project is the most important Project of the year. To prepare for this Project, VBCSD has organized consultation meetings, 3 kick-off seminars and 2 workshops in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to introduce the Program to the public.The Honoring Ceremony for the Most Sustainable Companies in Vietnam is expected to be held in October 2016
VBCSD also aimed to attract 10 new members in 2016. By June 2016, there have been 6 new members joined VBCSD, equivalent to 60% membership development target of 2016.
