AES Mong Duong Highlights Safety Commitment at Safety Day 2024

As part of the celebration of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, AES Mong Duong’s representatives visited and presented Tet gifts to a number of disadvantaged households and children in Quang Ninh Province. The ceremony was organized with the attendance of representatives from local authorities, beneficiary people, and AES Mong Duong.
In Quang Ninh province, this is annual program by AES Mong Duong delivered gifts to local communities. This year, 73 disadvantaged households from Mong Duong Ward, the communes of Cong Hoa and Cam Hai, and 188 pupils of Dong Mo school received the gifts.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Joseph Uddo, Managing Director Manager of AES Mong Duong, said, “When implementing CSR programs, we want our value “All together” to spread from internal operations to the community. With this program, we hope for a warmer and more meaningful holiday for the poor, so Tet can be celebrated in every household. Finally, we wish you and your family a Happy and Prosperous New Year.”
Representative of Mong Duong PC, Mr. Bui QuangTrung, Vice chairman of Mong Duong PC said:

Your significant contributions and unwavering efforts have brought warmth and joy to those in difficult circumstances, especially during the Tet holiday in the Year of the Wood Dragon 2024.”
The Tet gifts program is part of AES Mong Duong’ social impact program, which aims to improve the quality of life for local communities. Over the past 12 years, AES Mong Duong has implemented more than 150 CSR programs, focusing on four key pillars – Health & safety, Education, Livelihoods, and Infrastructure – contributing to making a permanent difference and improving the quality of lives of more than 200,000 people in the local community in Quang Ninh.
