AES Mong Duong Power Company Ltd was recently handed over RoSPA Gold Medal (5 consecutive Golds) Award for its outstanding health and safety performance during the period of January 01, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
This is an internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK. The prestigious award is in recognition of the Company’s practices and achievements in helping its staffs and contractors to get home safely at the end of the working day.
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Competitive awards go to the best entries in 24 industry sectors including construction, healthcare, transport and logistics, engineering, manufacturing and education.
There are specialist awards for health at work, environmental management and fleet safety, and excellence trophies for the best international, new entry, workforce involvement and organisation operating or based in Scotland. RoSPA’s top accolade is the Sir George Earle Trophy.

AES Mong Duong has also received the certification from Bureau Veritas for the Management System in accordance with the requirements of the Management System ISO 45001:2018 – a new ISO standard developed to replace OHSAS 18001:2007. It is committed by the Company to maintain Occupational Heath & Safety and Environment standards at the world-class level and continue improvement to ensure “Everybody can go home safely after each working day”.
AES Mong Duong’s Environment Management System is already in accordance with ISO requirement and Bureau Veritas validated our ISO 14001 certification.
