Tet Celebrations: AES Vietnam Supports Disadvantaged Communities in Quang Ninh and Binh Thuan Province

In a heartfelt response to an urgent call from Quang Ninh General Hospital, AES Mong Duong organized a successful “Voluntary Blood Donation Day” at the plant housing. The event saw enthusiastic participation from AES Mong Duong people and contractors, who came together to support this noble cause.
The blood donation drive was organized to address a severe shortage of blood reserves in local hospitals. The event not only aimed to replenish blood supplies but also to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation within the community. AES Mong Duong leaders encouraged and facilitated employees to participate in this event.
The event concluded with a total of 73 participants, with various units of blood collected, which will significantly contribute to the hospital’s efforts in providing critical care to patients in need. Participants arrived early in the morning, and medical professionals from Quang Ninh General Hospital were on-site to ensure the safety and well-being of all donors.
Over the past 13 years, AES Mong Duong has implemented more than 170 CSR programs, focusing on four key pillars – Health & Safety, Education, Livelihoods, and Infrastructure – contributing to making a permanent difference and improving the quality of life for more than 200,000 people in the local community in Quang Ninh.
