Operating with a mission of improving lives by accelerating a safer and greener energy future, AES Mong Duong is dedicated to improving lives and making a lasting difference in the communities where Mong Duong 2 Power Plant located.
The stories of sustainable progress of AES Mong Duong during the last 2 years demonstrated continuing efforts to bring a better lives and sustainable development to not only local people living in the Project area but also to employees, contractors and partners that altogether create a strong foundation for sustainable development. These efforts were highly appreciated by local government and the communities as well as Sustainability Society in Vietnam.
Upon the publication, AES Mong Duong’s Sustainability Report was short listed in the 13 finalists of Asia’s Best Stakeholder Reporting by Asia Sustainability Reporting Award (ASRA) – the most prestigious recognition for sustainability reporting vision, excellence and performance in the region. ASRA recognizes and honors outstanding sustainability reporting leaders in Asia and is a once-a-year opportunity to build trust and awareness amongst stakeholders by showcasing the corporation’s sustainability initiatives.
Asia’s Best Stakeholder Reporting is one of 17 categories of the award this year. A record of 80 companies from 14 countries have made it to the final round of the 2018 Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA). Winners for the 17 award categories will be announced in March 2019 in Singapore.
