Mr. David Stone was elected as Vice Chairman of Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) at its 3rd General Assembly

Hanoi, 15March 2017 –Mr. David Stone, Managing Director of AES Mong Duong Power Co. Ltd. joined the 3rd General Assembly of VBCSD which was held in Hanoi. The meeting was attended by over 60 representatives including executive management of official members, associate members and honorary members of VBCSD

Activities and achievements of VBCSD in 2016were highlighted at the meeting including the launching of Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) and the program on benchmarking and ranking the most sustainable companies in Vietnam.  Vision and mission of the 3^rd term 2017-2020 as well as action plan for 2017 were also discussed by members. At the end of the meeting, the members have voted new Executive Board for the 3^rd term. Mr. David Stone was nominated and elected as Vice Chairman of the VBCSD.
