AES Mong Duong Pickleball Tournament 2025
AES Mong Duong has officially announced a change of its company name, from AES-VCM Mong Duong Power Co. Ltd. to AES Mong Duong Power Co. Ltd. (Công ty TNHH Điện lực AES Mông Dương in Vietnamese).
The change of the company name to AES Mong Duong Power Co. Ltd. has been approved by the government and takes legal effect from 17 April 2020. On this occasion, the company also has introduced a new logo for AES Mong Duong, which reflects the new name.
“The new name comes at a meaningful time when we celebrate the 5-year anniversary of Mong Duong II Power Plant. It signifies a 5-year journey in which we have become a trusted and credible partner in the energy sector, combining our global resources and local expertise to provide safe, reliable and sustainable energy solutions for Vietnam,” said David Stone, CEO of AES Mong Duong, regarding the new name.
Being a trusted partner in the energy sector, AES Mong Duong has also been a good corporate citizen, actively engaging and supporting the community where the company operates. Since 2012, 130 CSR initiatives, with a total value of more than US$600,000, have been implemented, focusing on four main pillars – Health, Education, Livelihoods and Infrastructure. The activities have made a lasting difference and contributed to improving the quality of life for more than 200,000 people in neighboring communities in Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh Province.
