AES Mong Duong supports the local community with Environment Education and Integrated Waste Management project on Values Day 2024
Put Safety First, Act With Integrity, Honor Commitments, Strive For Excellence, and Have Fun Through Work are the core values that we uphold at AES-VCM Mong Duong Power. In celebration of the AES Values Day this year, we implemented a community project at Dong Mo, an under-privileged public school located in a remote, rural area of Mong Duong Ward. Our theme for the 2013 Values Day is honoring our commitments to the community well-being and development. To honor these commitments, our team organized the building of a new school yard and renovation of one classroom building for Dong Mo School. During the Values Day ceremony at Dong Mo on 3 July 2013, we planted trees, handed over donations of clothes and text books to the students, organized a friendly luncheon and shared our values with the students, teachers and local residents at Dong Mo area. This project has helped strengthen our employees’ connection and commitment to the community.
