AES Future Energy Scholarship 2024–2025
Seven young members of affected households of Ash Pond 2 Project of Mong Duong 2 Power Plant received their completion certificates on Hydraulic Excavator Operation in May 2018 at graduation ceremony organized by Vinacomin Vocational School. Graduated trainees are having great opportunities to work for construction companies in Van Don area where business is blooming now and employers are actively looking for candidates.
The training course is among several vocational training programs developed and sponsored by AES Mong Duong under Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP). Together with the company Community Development Plan, the LRP targets to enable the livelihood restoration and improvement through providing affected people with new skills for a better job and earning in the future. With skills and knowledge obtained from these courses, many affected people were able to have stable jobs with good income to improve their family’s living conditions.
