The Chairman of Quang Ninh People Committee presented the merit certificates to honored companies
Ha Long, 24June 2017 – AES Mong Duong was honored by Quang Ninh People Committee for its contribution to state budget and social welfare of Quang Ninh province in 2016. The Ceremony was organized as part of the Quang Ninh Enterprises Association Semi-annual Meeting with the present of Mr. Nguyen Duc Long, Chairman of Quang Ninh PC, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, ViceChairman of Quang Ninh PC.
Mong Duong 2 BOT Power Plant was one of the biggest projects in the province. In 2016, AES Mong Duong had contributed VND 1,038 billion to the state budget, which accounted for 3% total state budget and 56.6% of contribution from FDI companies in the province.
In addition to the significant contribution to the state budget, in 2016, almost VND 1.5 billion was invested in Community Development Activities with focus on main areas of healthcare, education, environment and infrastructure by building sustainable local capacity for the project area of Mong Duong ward, Cong Hoa and Cam Hai communes of Cam Pha city with 1,649 direct beneficiaries and more than 20,000 indirect beneficiaries.
