AES Mong Duong Pickleball Tournament 2025
On April 26 in Hanoi, representatives of AES Mong Duong – Ms. Hoang Thuy Ngan, O&M Planning Manager and Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang, Engineering Lead – attended the seminar “Experience in operating power sources, power grids and digital transformation solutions applied in economic management”, held by Vietnam Electricity (EVN), the country’s largest electricity manufacturer and distributor.
The representatives of AES Mong Duong presented the topic “Operation and management at Mong Duong 2 BOT thermal power plant”.
In addition to providing an overview of Mong Duong 2 Thermal Power Plant, including information on operations, maintenance, the ‘Safety – Health – Environment’ program, as well as staff and community support activities, the representatives of AES Mong Duong emphasized projects that have been implemented to increase efficiency, such as replacing boiler furnace refractory materials and modifying burners.
The information was appreciated by participants at the seminar. The representative of EVN praised MD2’s presentation and suggested that staff at EVN’s power plants should take the opportunity to visit the Mong Duong 2 Plant to discuss techniques and draw experience in the near future.
The seminar included the participation of experts, consultants, and domestic and foreign partners, who shared new perspectives on the application of science and technology in the management and operation of power grids and power plants.
