Hanoi,6-9March 2017–Representative of AES Mong Duong Power Co. Ltd., Mr. David Stone has joined the US-ASEAN Business Council 2017 Business Mission in Hanoi. The mission delegation includessenior-level executives from U.S Company doing business with Vietnamled by Michael Michalak, Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director of US-ASEAN Business Council.During 4 days, the mission had more than 20 meetings with key Government officials from various Ministries, State-owned enterprises as well as leading experts of international institution including World Bank, IMF, IFC etc. The mission focus on continuing established dialogue with Government of Vietnam for advocating policy priorities of delegation members, information gathering on economic and business priorities and relationship building.
Mr. Stone have had chance to talk with various leaders from Vietnam government including Prime Minister H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc on key business opportunities and challenges to improve the business and investment climate in Vietnam. He was also able to share community development programs that AES Mong Duong have been implementing in the project areas in the past few years.
AES Mong Duong’s visibility and commitment to Vietnam market is againrestated through this event.
