AES Mong Duong Received the Merit Certificate for 2016 Outstanding FDI Company Award

Hanoi, 25 August 2017– AES Mong Duong Power Co. Ltd. was nominated and received the Merit Certificate for 2016 Outstanding FDI Company. The Company was among 28 winners out of 72 applicants for the award. The Certificate presenting Ceremony was held at the studio of Voice of Vietnam Television in Hanoi and live broadcast nation-wide on August 25.

Mrs. Le My Hanh represented AES Mong Duong at the ceremony and proudly received the Certificate from Mr. Chu Pham Ngoc Hien, Vice Minister of Ministry of Natural resource and Environment and Mr. Nghiem Vu Khai, Former Vice Minister.

The award aims to promote businesses applying the most advanced technologies and solutions to create better products and services for domestic and international market. The sustainability agenda of the business was one of the criteria for the award. Award Selection Committee includes Foreign Investment Association, Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment, Ministry of Investment and Planning, Ministry of Information and Communication, Ministry of Science and Technology and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
