AES Mong Duong Power Company Ltd., has been implementing strict preventive measures to ensure continuity of its operation and electricity production.
Utilizing reliable digital systems, working from home arrangement has been initiated for local employees. The Company has developed a social distancing and Shelter-in-Place programs at the plant to ensure the continuity of production with minimum staffing.
As further preventive measures, medical screening for all employees and contractors at the plant was conducted following instructions from the local authorities. Daily temperature monitoring, and travel record is being maintained together with restrictions on travel and non-essential visits.
“Electricity will be a very important part in Vietnam’s battle with the Covid-19. Providing adequate electricity not only supports the medical activities at hospitals, but also contributes to ensuring the stability of the economy. That’s why we are putting major efforts to secure the health of our employees and ensure the continuity of our operation”, says Kevin Pierce, Manager of the Plant.
Facing the complicated situation of the Covid-19, the Company urges its all employees and contractors to strictly follow the instructions on health and safety measures.
