In 2017, AES Mong Duong presented AES Mong Duong Energy Career Scholarship to 20 outstanding students from Quang Ninh majoring in power and energy at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Electric Power University (EPU). Besides the $600/student/year, all scholarship recipients also receive technical and soft-skill training to improve themselves in pursuing career in energy.

Bringing a little joy to poor families has become the tradition that AES Mong Duong implements every year. This year, the Company has prepared 38 gift baskets to the poor families located in the neighboring community of the Power Plant.
