Mong Duong II Began Receiving Coal
On 11 April 2014, Mong Duong II officially receives 3,000 tons of coal from Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Group. The coal delivery took place smoothly via the belt conveyor systems of both sides.
First Unit First Fire On Oil Completed
After many hours of hard work, we have successfully completed the first fire on oil for the First Unit on 26 February 2014. This is one of the key accomplishments for the path to First Unit Synchronization scheduled for June this year.
Mong Duong II Achieved 8 Million LTI Free Man-Hours
We have now achieved the safety milestone of “8 Million” LTI Free man-hours and nearly 25 million total man-hours. The Mong Duong II Project continues to progress well with over 7,000 people working on site.
Temple Courtyard For Cam Hai Commune
We continue community development initiatives with the construction of a local temple courtyard in Cam Hai Commune in collaboration with our EPC Contractor, Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam.
Sponsoring Mid Autumn Festival
We at AES Mong Duong Power kicked off our first community initiative on the occasion of the Mid Autumn Festival with the children of Mong Duong Ward. We sponsored the moon cakes for the event and shared the joy of the festival with the Mong Duong children and local residents.
