Hanoi, VIETNAM, April 13, 2021 – AES Vietnam, a division of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), launched today its new brand identity that reflects the company’s commitment and the world’s transition to a cleaner energy future.
On 12 March 2021, AES Mong Duong Power Company presented 500 COVID-19 test kits – the first batch of 1,000 COVID-19 test kits to Cam Pha Healthcare Center, with the aim to continue supporting the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the province.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year in February 2021, AES Vietnam presented Tet gifts to a number of poor and near-poor households and students in the provinces of Binh Thuan and Quang Ninh. The gifts were presented in cooperation with the local People’s Committees in the two provinces.
Safety comes first at AES, and we work to make this value a reality through our social impact programs. In December 2020, the two-year Electrical Safety project was completed and contributed to improvement of safety conditions and the living standards of local communities in Cam Hai Commune, Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province.
