On May 13, 2025, AES Vietnam proudly hosted its annual Safety Day at Mong Duong 2 BOT Power Plant, emphasizing the theme of “Safety First, Protect What Matters Most” with the participation of the employees and contractors.
On May 13, Olivier Marquette, President of AES Vietnam, attended and delivered a speech at a significant meeting hosted by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh with U.S. businesses investing and operating in Vietnam. The event coordinated by the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam saw the participation of Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and representatives from 50 major U.S. companies currently investing in Vietnam.
AES Mong Duong has successfully concluded its STEM (- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Education Program – “Safety and Save of Electricity”, aimed at enhancing awareness of electrical safety and promoting the efficient use of electricity among secondary school teachers and students in Cam Pha City.
On 16 and 28 April, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper, and a delegation from the US Embassy in Vietnam visited the representative offices of AES Vietnam in Hanoi and Binh Thuan. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Olivier Marquette, President of AES Vietnam and AES Vietnam leadership team.
Continuing efforts to empower the local community’s future workforce, AES Vietnam, in coordination with the Center for Education and Development (CED), organized the Scholarship Award Ceremony for the AES’s Future Energy Scholarship Program for the 2024–2025 school year at Quang Ninh University of Industry.
